About Mike Montgomery
Mike is Alaska Rush's Director of Coaching Boys. Prior to being appointed to this postion, Mike was DOC Seniors for the club. Mike founded Alaska Goldstrikers Soccer Club in 1982, which eventually became Alaska Rush in 2005. Mike has over thirty years coaching experience between his time with Alaska Goldstrikers, Alaska Rush, Alaska ODP, and the Anchorage School District. Michael taught Physical Education for 27 years for the Anchorage School District before retiring in May 2011. Mike currently coaches the 96B and 95/96G teams as well as acting as the Lead Coach for Alaska Rush's F.A.S.T. program.
