Alaska Airlines Cup - General Information
The Alaska Airlines Cup is the largest youth soccer tournament in Alaska. It is an international youth soccer tournament, with over 2,000 players in age divisions from U10-U23. The tournament invites teams from all over the state of Alaska, Canada, and the U.S. to kick off the summer soccer season. We hope you will include the Alaska Airlines Cup, in the beautiful city of Anchorage, Alaska, in your summer soccer plans!
Formally known as the Ina K Memorial Cup, the "Ina K" was named in memoriam of Ina Kristiansen, a beloved Alaskan soccer player, who passed away in the early 90's. After almost 20 years of holding the tournament in memory of their daughter, Ina's parents have asked that the tournament be renamed, but that the spirit of their daughter's love and passion for soccer continue to be honored through the Ina K Medals. These medals are awarded at the conclusion of the tournament to one player on each team who exemplifies the spirit with which Ina played the game. The Alaska Rush is excited to partner with Alaska Airlines as the title sponsor of this tournament and would like to thank Alaska Airlines for their generous support of Alaska youth soccer.
