About the Program
F.A.S.T. (Fun Agility Speed Training) is a program designed for Alaska Rush players who would like to improve their ability to perform on the pitch. By using a variety of exercises with and without a ball, F.A.S.T. is desgined to improve a player's speed, agility, balance, and acceleratio in a fun, competitive environment. The goal is to educate and empower each player to begin training on their own safely to improve their game.
Divisions & Schedules:
The Fall 2012 and Winter 2013 F.A.S.T. sessions will take place on Saturday mornings at Tanglewood commencing October 6, 2012 and concluding for the season on May 11, 2013 in Tanglewood and May 25, 2013 on Lloyd Steele Park. The Summer 2013 F.A.S.T. sessions will take place on Friday mornings at Lloyd Steele Park commencing June 7, 2013 and concluding for the season on July 27, 2013.
The F.A.S.T. sessions will coincide with the Saturday Morning Shooting/Friday Finishing sessions with the F.A.S.T. Coach selecting players for 15-20 minute intervals and training before reintergrating those players back into Saturday Morning Shooting/Friday Finishing and selecting another group of players to train.
